About Us

Our Mission

Nafis bridges the gap between empowerment and tradition. Working with talented women who have challenges, we bring back the artistic integrity of Egyptian handcrafts. We produce beautiful, handcrafted goods with their hands that honor our history and offer a means of achieving financial freedom.

Our Vision

Through our collaborative efforts, Nafis will empower women with disabilities to become recognized and respected artisans. Their handmade products will be valued for their artistic merit and cultural significance. In our ideal future, organizations and societies will value the unique skills that each person possesses, making the world a livelier and richer place for allyptian handcrafts. We produce beautiful, handcrafted goods with their hands that honor our history and offer a means of achieving financial freedom.

Our Story

Nafis is a unique brand manufactured by the hands of unique and skilled women of Egypt with disabilities who have been trained by ERADA program, and funded by the Drosos Foundations. Nafis is more than just a brand; it’s a story of resilience, creativity, and the enduring spirit of Egyptian craftsmanship.

At Nafis, we believe that talent and ability transcend limitations. We empower women with disabilities by providing them with training, fair wages, and a supportive work environment. This allows them to showcase their skills, achieve economic independence, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Awtad

The Association for Women’s Total Advancement and Development (AWTAD), founded in 2008, an NGO is dedicated to the professional and personal development of Egyptian women and youth, empowering them on both social and economic levels.

Our goal is to create a trust-based network that facilitates the exchange of ideas and expertise. We firmly believe that this network is vital in providing women and youth with the support and motivation needed to realize their business aspirations.

Erada

Erada is on a mission to transform the lives of women with disabilities (WwDs) aged 18-45 across Greater Cairo, El Fayoum, and Aswan. Erada’s goal is simple yet powerful: to unlock economic empowerment for this vibrant community. Through targeted initiatives, we’re breaking barriers and ensuring their seamless integration into the creative industry value chain.

Erada is about advocating for diversity, fostering growth, and creating a future where everyone can realize their full potential. Erada is reshaping lives and communities, one empowered and included individual at a time.
